LANDSCAPE IN WOOL - Uzbekistan II

This warm looking Landscape in Wool is made of several rare types of wool, including those of the Karakul sheep and the Hungarian Racka and the Hebredian. These sheep are characterized by the strong wool that is especially suitable for survival on poor soil and harsh weather conditions. This Landscape in Wool is an artistic translation of these homelands. The work shows a range of shades of brown with a slightly grey undertone here and there. A few small accents have been applied with wool that is naturally dyed with plants. The work can be attached directly to the wall as a tapestry but is shown here as a rug. If desired this Landscape can also hung as a roomdevider. An additional charge applies here. A fixing is then made on the back with wich the tapestry can be hung freely in any room on thin steel wires.
